Jim Odom
Chief Executive Officer & President
Jim Odom is President, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Board of Directors of Martin Group, the nationwide leader of Software Solutions, Business Services, and Engineering that address operational and marketplace challenges faced by communications providers.

Mr. Odom joined Martin Group as CEO in September 2000. Since that time, the company has increased its market reach through new product offerings designed to address the software and engineering needs of wireline and wireless telecommunications companies, and through acquisitions that complement the Martin Group organization and its product families.

Prior to joining Martin Group, Mr. Odom was Vice President and head of the Operational Support Systems business unit for the Network Support Division of Harris Corporation, a $2 billion global communications technology company. His responsibilities at Harris included marketing, sales, installation and development of networking applications, operational support systems, and services for utilities, cable TV, telecommunications companies, government agencies, and OEMs. Mr. Odom launched this business unit in 1996 and sales doubled each year of his tenure.

Mr. Odom has a Bachelors of Science degree in both Management and Business Data Processing.


Colin White
Vice President, Software Development
Colin White joined Martin Group in May 2009 and serves as Vice President for Software Development. Prior to joining Martin Group, Mr. White served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect for large and small companies including SAIC, Fujitsu, and GNS Europe in London, Hong Kong, and USA.

Mr. White has founded and sold successful IT businesses including GNS Europe and has considerable experience managing high growth, rapid innovation companies through trade sales and business integration. He also has an extensive technical background in enterprise architecture, high performance computing, enterprise storage, data communications and systems engineering. Mr. White has served as technical peer review for NASAs Chief Technology Officer on Information Architecture.

Mr. White holds a bachelors degree in IT from University Kent at Canterbury and a masters degree in Information Engineering from City University, London.


Dave Fridley
Vice President, TCE
Dave Fridley, Vice President of Martin Group's TCE Department, is responsible for the coordination of the multiple aspects of ongoing engineering projects for individual clients as well as multiple clients. Mr. Fridley has written Central Office Equipment plans and specifications for over 450 initial digital and next generation switches, over 200 major upgrades to digital switches, over 150 lightwave terminal specifications (both asynchronous and SONET based), forty (40) Digital Cross-Connects (DACS) systems, and a multitude of miscellaneous equipment specifications.

Mr. Fridley began his telecommunications career with DeWilde, Grant, and Reckert (DGR) in Rock Rapids, Iowa. He specialized in outside plant and conduit engineering while at DGR. The firm worked almost exclusively for Qwest (formerly NWB and US West) during his employment.

He graduated from South Dakota State University in 1976.


Eugene P. McCord
Vice President, Operations
Eugene McCord, Vice President of Operations, manages the company's customer-facing operations including activations, software support, business services, IT, quality assurance, and training.

Prior to Martin Group, Mr. McCord was a founding stockholder of PrairieWave Communications and served as its Chief Information Officer and Vice President of the company until it was acquired by Knology. Mr. McCord led several initiatives at PrairieWave to develop procedures that emphasized work flow management, operational efficiencies gained by flow-through provisioning and consolidating information while making it available to cross-functional departments in a single system.

Mr. McCord’s vast communications experience includes leadership and operational positions with a wide range of service providers including, entrénet, NetSource Communications (formerly MTC Telemanagement), DialNet, Grand River Mutual Telephone Corporation, Midstate Telephone Company, and N.E. Missouri Rural Telephone Co-op.


Jeffrey Boozer
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Jeffrey Boozer, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, is responsible for planning, managing and coordinating comprehensive and aggressive sales and marketing strategies for Martin Group. Mr. Boozer also analyzes sales statistics to formulate new strategies and tactics; reviews marketing analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates; and directs product development and standardization programs to maximize profit.

Mr. Boozer has extensive experience in the telecommunications software industry. He has managed sales to wireline, wireless, and CATV businesses both domestically and internationally. Mr. Boozer has worked with Alltel, DPI, IBM, and Billing Concepts. Mr. Boozer has been the Software Product Manager responsible for launching 3 new OSS software products; the Activations Manager for 20+ new billing implementations; the Sales & Marketing Executive for 3 OSS software vendors; and a Sales & Marketing consultant to several companies in the OSS/BSS software industry.


Matt Swenson
Vice President, Business Development
Matt Swenson joined Martin Group in February 2002 as the General Manager of Client Services. In this position, he directed and managed all Activations and IT business associated with Martin Group's new OMNIA Product Suite. In his current role as Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Swenson oversees the Facilities Management Business Unit and coordinates efforts associated with developing potential business partner relationships.

Previous to Martin Group, Mr. Swenson founded GeoEconomics, Inc. in 1992 in Missoula, Montana. Mr. Swenson designed, marketed, and managed all aspects of the business. The company built Facilities Management and Mapping Software and performed integration and conversion services in the Telecommunications industry. In 2002, Martin Group acquired GeoEconomics, Inc.

Mr. Swenson has a Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) in Economics, and a M.A. Economics from the University of Montana.


Peter Rasmusson
President, Telecommunications Consulting & Engineering
Peter Rasmusson joined Martin Group in 2002 and serves as President, Telecommunications Consulting and Engineering. Prior to joining Martin Group, Mr. Rasmusson was President and General Manager of Sioux Valley Telephone Company and Hills Telephone Company, which are small, rural companies operating in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa.

Mr. Rasmusson has served on the Board of Directors for Express Communications (a long distance provider in Sioux Falls, SD) where he chaired a long-range strategic planning committee and for LECA (an access charge pooling association in South Dakota). He also made presentations to industry associations and the South Dakota PUC.

Mr. Rasmusson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Iowa State University where he graduated with high honors.


Steve Angerhofer
Vice President, TCE
Steve Angerhofer is Vice President of Telecommunications, Consulting & Engineering (TCE). Mr. Angerhofer is the primary manager for projects dealing with Competitive Local Exchange Company (CLEC), Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH), and IPTV studies, designs and deployments at Martin Group. His team was also instrumental in the deployment of the first 40G Internet2 network in South Dakota.

Prior to employment with Martin Group, Mr. Angerhofer served as Vice President of Engineering for Dakota Telecommunication Group (DTG). At DTG Mr. Angerhofer was involved with overbuilding 26 CLEC communities to deliver Voice, Video and Data. Mr. Angerhofer was the Director of Data Development for McLeodUSA where he worked on the product development team responsible for all IP related services. Mr. Angerhofer was also one of the primary Engineers for Iway Internet Services, the first and largest ISP in South Dakota.

Mr. Angerhofer brings real life experience, working for rural telecommunications companies, to Martin Group’s engineering and consulting business unit.


Wayne Crosby
Chief Financial Officer
Wayne Crosby joined Martin Group in 2001 as Controller and serves today as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Crosby oversees all financial reporting, maintains bank and investor relationships, and manages the Accounting Department. He is also responsible for insurance and contract management. Mr. Crosby is a CPA and was first employed in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche, LLP for 8 years with their auditing group. Mr. Crosby has 30 years experience in finance and administration and has served as Controller or Chief Financial Officer of both public and private companies during that tenure.

Mr. Crosby graduated from University of California, Los Angeles, with a BA in Economics.


William (Bill) Schleich
Chief Technology Officer
Bill Schleich's career in the computer industry began in 1978 when he completed his education at Mitchell Technical Institute (Electronics, Telephone and Computers), and continued his studies at Dakota Wesleyan University (Math, Physics). In his 24 years he has worked in many areas of the computer industry and held positions including Computer Software Specialist, Systems Manager, Systems Analyst, Network Design, Systems Design, and Project Management.

Mr. Schleich's hardware platform experience includes microprocessors, DEC PDPs, VAX, Alpha and PCs. The operating systems he's worked with include RSX-11M, UNIX, VMS, and the various Microsoft Windows platforms. His database experience includes RMS, Sybase and Microsoft SQL. Mr. Schleich has programmed in Fortran, Cobol, VAX Basic, ADA, Pascal, Macro-32, Machine Language, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C, Java, JavaScript, JSP , HTML, ASP, and the latest .NET from Microsoft.
